I'd like to get a set but I havent seen any Azteks up in AK, and we dont really have "junkyards" to go pull any parts from. Might need to have someone go pick up a set and ship em up.

I'm going to jump on this tomorrow. I've been wanting Aztek needles for the longest time, but I've never seen them in any part-out yards or being parted out on CL. I know I need another set to complete my cluster, but this gets me close.

So excited! I'll probably to the LED lights at the same time. About time I did another mod to this pile.

FYI: YOU NEED NEEDLES FROM 2 CLUSTERS. They only have 2 of the small needles. You will need to raid another aztek for 2 more small needles. Also, buick rendezvous needles won't work. They are different sizes than the aztek.

Yeah Alaska doesnt really have "junkyards" unfortunately. It sucks, and parts shipped up arent worth the cost. We normally just make things ourselves haha

This thread motivated me to swap in my escalade cluster and aztek needles this evening. There were a few problems. The "small" needles are too long and you have to cut about 3/16" off all 4 of them. The tips aren't very bright and the tach needle is about 1/2" too short.

I might cut a longer speedometer needle down for the tach. It definitely needs some LEDs near to base to brighten them up.

not sure WTF is going on here...I even swapped out the water temp gauge from my 97 cluster and it did the same thing. This is when the truck is off.

Hey Dylan, if you get a set, could I call dibs? They wanted $80 for me to go out and pull the cluster. $80!!!!

I'm thinking I'm going to drive down there in a couple days and talk them down, because I can't imagine they'll EVER sell an Aztek cluster otherwise. Don't see too many of them on the road any more, and I don't think too many people are interested in fixing them.
