shocks accomodate changes in height, they don't cause it.

We all have to learn somewhere! It'd be stupid if people bashed you over something like that- its how you learn. Gurus aren't gurus overnight- which explains why I am still so stupid on most of this stuff.

True, but they make the ride very very stiff....

That's beside the point! :rofl: And your shock mounts can only hold so much since they aren't designed to hold the trucks weight. But it IS possible, just don't go offroading with that setup.

That's true. I'm still in need of ALOT of advice. haha. But my stock shocks have about 274k on em and I believe it's time for a good change. But can I put 2" shocks in the front or go with both back and front stock size?

If your lifting the suspension front and back it doesn't hurt to get new shocks- especially with that many miles on them. For a 2" it might not be necessary- how high are you lifting and what's in the kit?

I'm not buying a kit but why I keep saying 2" is if i crank a little more I want to know if I should buy the 2" or just stick to the normal sized cranked or not cranked
