fuel pump connector, i wonder if the damage to that pin is what causes the fuel gauge to read so funky sometimes. I wanted to reuse the fuel assembly but i rushed into dropping the tank without knowing how to disconnect the stupid quick connect fuel lines and broke the plastic tubes. why do they have to use plastic on such an important part, and quick connect hoses, another thing i could live without. I looked all over it for a part number for replacement but couldnt really find one, I know asking which replacement you should get is a mixed bag of answers and wont really help.

Have my self a ship in a bottle situation, didnt quite think how i was going to get the transmission off the jack and out from under. Blood bath of ATF on the ground from trying to do this by myself

Probably have to pull the torque converter and bellhouse to get it out

not planning this really sucks, crawlingnon the ground in kitty litter and atf, torsion bars in the way, exhaust in the way.

For going back in, i think i will have the trans attached to the engine to make things easier, is it best to have the transfer case adapter and tcas already mounted or attached them after transmission installed

Last time I did it with the tranny and transfer case mated. I did it by myself and I remember thinking, there’s got to be a better way. So this time on my son’s truck we are doing the engine and transmission together and then the transfer case. With the front clip and bed off it should be much easier this way.
