Can only stare at a Trainwreck for so long.
If all you're working on and rebuilding is 4L60es, you can't be saying that the Hygard is bad for every transmission because some 4L60e had it in there, 4L60es don't like to exist even under the best of conditionsYes only 4l60es but can do em with my eyes closed . That’s all ppl drive and drove in my town is Chevy. But I learned a lot about transmissions by surrounding myself with everything 4l60e. Even ASE certified in automatic transmissions
This is what happens when we put some of the best and brightest minds on the forum together! Well, not me, I'm what a teacher would call "special"I just now realized this thread is 46 pages long.
This may or may not be true. I really don’t know. BUT, how often do you really change your transmission fluid and how much are you really $aving with Hygard? Just seems like using what’s recommended an easier choice. If all you're working on and rebuilding is 4L60es, you can't be saying that the Hygard is bad for every transmission because some 4L60e had it in there, 4L60es don't like to exist even under the best of conditions
I wouldn't call this thread the highlight of the 'best and brightest' of the forum... more like the toilet stall next to the alumni office. This is what happens when we put some of the best and brightest minds on the forum together! Well, not me, I'm what a teacher would call "special"
