A 50/50 mix can make the engine run hotter. Water transfers heat 4 times as well as antifreeze. i recommend a mix of DRINKING water...

You would test the resistance across the sensor at a known temperature vs. what the manual says.

Test the coolant temp sensor. If it's got too much resistance the computer thinks it is much cooler than it is and gives too much fuel...
