Well, I bit the bullet and went carb! Thanks to all the you tube videoes of the install and exactly how to do it made the swap kind of easy. I built my own TPS bracket as well and ran the fuel lines and vac canister by the ABS box and it almost looks factory(JK). Now Im just (STILL) waiting on...- Heavy Chevy

Finally got around to doing the MPFI Swap..
Ive done a lot of those and they're a pain in the butt! I use assembly lube and sometimes have to thread the fuel line nuts on and gently pry up while shimmying the cover back on but. Anything above 1200 rpm and it romps to about 5600 like a racecar. ( I also hogged out the inake and exhaust ports when I rebuilt the motor It's got well under 20,000 miles. Ireplaced the cam,timing chain lifters springs and seals to make sure it was optimal. I don't have a scanner for obd1, but I did all the fuel mods that exist for the TBI except for the 22lb spring(I did shim it though). Im adding a vac canister later The compression was 138- 150+ with bad springs and seals and I can adjust rthese roller and non roller valves with my eyes closed- Heavy Chevy

Injection and everything works, it just doesnt want to idle. I should have the trans in later and see if it makes a difference. But it still doesn't even thave ten minutes of run time- Heavy Chevy

Ive got a 95 GMC Sierra that I've done pretty much everything to! I just did a new roller cam thats big 112 lsa 520/525 lift and it keeps dying at idle it sounds awesome but dies after it idles under 800 on its own.
