that is what I was taught years ago. Get in roll the windows down and drive for a min or two and let the cabin air out instead of trying to make the AC system remove all that heat right at the start.- Tomcat71

Need brake light wiring diagram for 1991 c1500 .
Well Im a dumbass, I was dealing with the wrong fuse..LOL I was checking from the brake fuse and not the stop fuse..lol the stop fuse was blown so I changed it and now the brake light wont turn off.lol and the key in ignition wont shut off . any ideas?- Tomcat71

Dash issues
I got it in only to find out the frigging brake lights dont work, Tail lights have new bulbs so I suspect someone was having the same issue and I didnt realize it when i bought it...damnit. gonna be rocking the two tone dash for a while..lol I also cleaned and installed my grey dash vent on the...- Tomcat71

Bought a used dash...not sure I'm gonna use it.
I just went through the same **** , I found a pretty good used one in the junkyard for 70 bucks, got it installed the other day . Truck drives alot better now that I dont have to worry about the instrument pod falling out of the dash .- Tomcat71

already done, found them after the post, I tried back feeding power though the brake fuse and the frigging climate control stays on after you turn off the key ..lol Its a hell of a mess. turn signals work fine, running lights work but I got no hazards and no brake lights.- Tomcat71

Need brake light wiring diagram for 1991 c1500 .
Also would like to know if anyone has a diagram of the power distribution to the fuse box, Im not getting power to the brake fuse. Edit: I was checking for power with the key off..lol I have power at the fuse now so My problem is elsewhere in the system and Im reading the manuals now. Thanks.- Tomcat71

What have you towed lately
Towed my New to me GMT400 home after stealing it from the seller..lol -
Dash issues
this truck is new to me, so for right now Im gonna bite the bullet and NOT change the heater core, Im more than likely gonna bu a new dash shell from LMC later on. I'm not gonna refurb all the Hvac system while I have this current one out. I dont suspect this one will last very long either.- Tomcat71

Well Amazingly enough I found a decent dash in the junkyard the other day so I bit the bullet and tore my old one out. the thing was totally trashed. The old one didnt have a thing let intact up top. the **** was breaking off like styrofoam . and here is the new to me dash . got my old...- Tomcat71
