Hey guys when I put my shift in 1st gear most the time when I mash it it will still shift to second gear?? What the heck lol why does it do that? Safety for redline or ??

You'll get a smokier burnout shifting from first then to second.
At least that's how it's done around here.

I have heard that 1st shifts from 1st to 3rd, and 2nd stays in second
