Winter grille cover for 95?

Hey Sewlow, have you ever tried 3M Dual Lock instead of snaps or hook-and-loop?

Yup. Used to use it in aircraft. The glue on the back is crazy strong. When stuck to fiberglass or an aircraft's substrates, the laminations will let go before the Dual Lock's glue does. Amazing stuff.
But in an application such as this, I sew the velcro to the straps so the glue isn't really needed.
