Like the title says...Will EGR delete cause rich running symptoms? I did my intake gaskets recently and deleted my egr at the same time. I have not tuned out the egr yet. I have white smoke on start up, it lasts until the engine reaches operating temperature. The smoke smells rich, almost like a two stroke. At first I thought the intake was still leaking but my coolant level hasn't changed. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance.

EGR function is non existent during cold start up in closed loop so that should have nothing do do with it, at least directly.
