So I finally made it out to my buddy's house earlier in the week to get some work done on the truck. It was muddier than heck out with the spring thaw so I really didn't want to lay under the truck to get a closer look. I have never seen shocks like this before on the back of a truck, just wondering if anybody knows anything about them.

They look similar to Gabriel rear assist shocks part number 43163

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

They are coil over shocks. They should be adjustable, with 3 to 5 different seethings on them for ride adjustment. The tighter the spring is, the harder the ride.

Those are the load assit shocks they have a coilover to help with sag. Superior also makes a lit to make any shock have a support coil around it.
