Hey, so trying to source a set of 081 heads, which vehicles came with?

Thanks
Last of the LG4s in B, F and G cars and the LB9 TPI F cars as well as boats.

Not sure why you would want to go to the trouble of finding a set though. The 059 and 520 casting L30 305 Vortec heads have the same size chamber and flow nearly 30 cfm better.

its for a 350
I have run them on a 350, but it was merely because it had 18cc dished pistons and I had a really nice set of ported 081s with 1.94/1.60 valves in them laying around. Otherwise there is little benifit in running them. On a 350 with a more normal 12cc dished or flat top piston a 64cc chamber head, even a swirl port will make more power and torque than an 081 head will everywhere. 081 is a slightly improved 416. If you want a small chamber head, the 059/520s or a 113 aluminum L98 head would be a far better choice.

305 heads are fun on a 350 bro. & I hear ya on all that. but I wont find L98s, and if a guy was going to drop the cash for a top end vortec conversion on a tbi 350, should do 906s. but then youre gonna waste them without a cam. probably be wasting 059s too. Its like everything with these, how far down the rabbit hole do you go.
