Where to find welder for small jobs?

I have a few small things I want to do to my Blazer that require a welder.

I want to add a dead pedal/ foot rest and I also want to sit lower, which means cutting the brackets on me (power) seat and taking a section out.

Where should I look for someone to do stuff like that? Custom hot rod shop? google "welder"?

I am in the East Los Angeles area and I am guessing there are lots of welders around here, just not sure where to go.

google welding and fabracation shops in the area,east La there must be a few custom lowrider shops around.

I know a welder in stanton that would do that kind of stuff but nothing near east L.A

I go to a gun range in Stanton fairly often, so that might work if I don't find someone closer
