Wheel Center Caps Orientation?

I thought those caps had an index stud on the back of them.

This reminds me of when I would “show mount” tires. We would line the wording on the tire even with the valve stem or a common spot on the wheel because some $$$ billet wheels had hidden valve stems. But all four tires and even the spare would be exactly the same

I'll confess to this day I still install center caps with wording/designs aligned with either the lug pattern or the valvestem, if visible. Not worried about the tire lettering as since these aren't show vehicles, I want them mounted with the balance mark where it should be.
