not a chevy, but my friends truck we have been working on for a few years. we put stacks through the side of the bed, not in the bed at all! dodges have wide space between inner bed and outter skin,,,,so we found an aluminum cap and cut it up to fit around the stacks....i think i came out pretty cool for a $40 cap.
hes going for a military/ ...whitetrash look. hahaha

This is a farm truck for us. It was my dad's and he gave it to me when it was done for. Ahahaha. I've brought it back as it was a free 1 ton 4x4 that was doomed for the scrap yard. Needed and needs a lot more work. My dad dislikes truck caps, but I've really enjoyed it. He was critical when I put it on, but he couldn't deny the functionality. I can throw whatever in the bed now and it doesn't sit open to the elements. I can't use the gooseneck easily but I prefer bumper pulls for a lot of things as it's easier to deal with (for me). My wife and uncle are in the shot helping with hay. Not sure the brand on the cap, I'll have to take a look. It's made the truck a lot more useful. I keep a full size air compressor back there too, which makes it easy for working on equipment away from the house.

Cap was $20

Old thread, but what other shells have the same dimensions as our short bed? Would save me some driving to look at these. If anyone has one to sell in the Bay Area, please PM me.

Did a very quick search, found this one on CL. I'll edit this post if I find more.

Thanks Curt, I have a saved search on Craigslist similar to your results. The "-toyota -longbed -ranger -s10 -nissan" filters out results which definitely don't fit. A matching color would be nice, but if the price is right, I could always respray it. Top of the budget is $300 and it looks like I'll be able to find something if I'm patient.
