The truck is a 97 k1500 5.7
I have been experiencing something really weird. The truck starts great, revs just fine in P but once I put the truck in gear and give it some gas, it tries to die on me. This is a new truck to me and I did not experience this when I went to pick it up, but the truck was already warm when I test drove it. My scanner is returning no codes. I'm really hoping this isn't a transmission/TC issue. Any ideas for me? Thanks in advance

In case someone in the future comes across this thread, my problem was completely solved by installing a new idle air valve. This problem cropped up after I ran some of the seafoam spray through the intake hose, I think the seafoam knocked loose some carbon that was sealing the valve's old original o ring. Whether my theory was correct or not, a new valve completely fixed my issue.
