Thermostat question

Honestly, I don't think there's anything to be concerned with here. In the cold, my truck runs at around 1/4 on the thermostat also.

IMO your thermostats fine and is running at a normal spot for this freezing cold weather

If you know anyone with a infrared laser thermometer you could use it to take the reading off of the top of the thermostat housing. That is what I did to verify that my engine was at proper temp.
