My rebuilt heads. just got to posting in here, forgot for a while. 5.7L 350 heads. Anyways, What ive done:
1-Stipped down, thrown in a hot tank, pressure washed then bead blasted
2-Reemed, pressed, and sized new brass valve guides
3-Grinded valves down
4-Cut the valve seats with a 3 angle cutter. better for performance but not usually a noticeable gain
5-Resurfaced flat. Mine werent too bad, took about 3-4 passes but some have been unfixable. some woulda took 40 passes on the resurfacer to make them flat, but that would been pointless
6-Steam/Pressure washed to clean them
7-Reassembled with new springs/dampers, shims to make up for what was grinded off the valves/seats, new valve o-rings, and new performance umbrella seals
