Tail light and interior light delay

I am having a small problem with my tail lights and interior lights on my 92 Blazer. When I turn on my headlights it takes sometimes, no joke, up to a minute or more for my interior lights and tail lights to come on. Any body experience this, I'm thinking it might be the switch? Any advice on it might be something else?

Very likely the switch. You can take it apart and clean the contacts, maybe bend them a little. This worked on my 93 at least, ymmv...
