That's what I was telling him. Also there was no 400 Avalanche, Cadillac version or otherwise.

I won't be using the audio controls still have the original radio and it works fine. Thanks for the info on rear doors. saved me a lot of looking around to realize no go.will check out Subs though

400 suburbans ran through 99, and 3500s through 00. Rear doors on either will work. 99-02 NBS steering wheel is a direct swap.

Yours is probably an LD 6 lug, not a "true" 3/4 ton 8 lug.

Federal law requiring airbags was based on GVWR. 8,500 lb. or less GVWR required airbags.
