my truck: 1994 ecsb bucket seats
Donor truck:1993-94 Tahoe

I cant get the tahoe passenger seat to bolt in because it has different seat rails.

So is it possible to swap the rails/mounts?

How do i do it? Pics of the spring leaver setup onthetruck seat wod be nice since a spring came off And a cable isnt attached.

If you have a trick or better way of doing this please let me know.

Turn seat upside down. Remove the 4 bolts holding the rail base to each of the seats. Put on old rails to new seats...

If it's a long spring it connects to the other side of the track.. so both releases get pulled at once.. if it's a small spring it goes on the main pull handle...

Take a look at your other seat as it should be a mirror image of the one the spring can off of.. unless your going from and or to power. Then all bets are of...lol..

Thanks for the help! I got it swaped over. I just couldnt see the bolts because the slider was stuck. It kind of sucks that i lost the quick entry function for extra cabs, but oh well. I dont know why chevy did this, but you can manually make the seat do the quick entry thing by pulling a small metal latch on the lower rail, but its between the console and seat so a pain to get to.
