Reseting distirbutor 350 TBI

94 Suburban
350 TBI.

Original engine was blown. Swapped in a replacement motor. I am to the point where I am setting distributor / plugs / wires. etc.

IF I recall, bring to TDC, set distributor, run firing order from where rotor is pointing, and unhook tan wire (under foot panel on passenger floor board?) and use timing light to set timing?

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Sounds right to me.

Tan wire is usually inbehind or under glovebox though.

The tan wire has a plug behind the junction cover....

My 1994 doesn't. plug was in harness behind glovebox.

I have had 2 94's, the early 94 is under the junction box underhood, the late 94 is below glove box, just like a 95.
