I changed a blown 96 350 vortec with a 98 305 vortec and need to know what is the best way to get it running as it should. I do not have a tuner/programmer and don't really want to spend the cash on one that I will use only to set the 305 up. Can I buy a 305 computer from salvage and just replace the one for the 350?
