The truck I bought has a PWM 4L60E, and after much research, I've decided to just rebuild the original 93 transmission. What's everyone's thoughts on monster transmission? The SS kit rated for 650 hp is what I'm looking at, with a 2000-2300 stall. I will be getting a new chip burned, as I will be putting a cam and other parts on as well.

I've seen more negative than good about Monster Transmission. I would trust Hughes, B&M, Gearstar, and TCI.

^ What he said.

Also you could probably do a junkyard 4L80E swap for whatever amount of money Monster was going to steal from you and have far less headaches in the future. Especially if the truck is a 2WD.
