I'm Awesome
So after days of reading and reading part numbers and what works and doesn't work. I made this list to see if it can benefit anyone.
To use the chevette brake lines you need to file off a little material, took 5 minutes per. Cover port with tape.
Step bit made quick work of enlarging the holes to 5/8", took 5 minutes each rotor.
Removed backing plate but grinder and cutoff wheel.
Modifying Caliper bracket to go over a lip the axle flange has so that it would sit flush, longest process of it all. 15-20 minutes per.
Mocked up
Final weld
Paint
Brake line connected, straight forward.
Finished Product
