radio buttons

Hi everyone, are the buttons on the radio and heater control supposed to light up when the headlights are turned on? If so none of mine are on. What to look for if they are supposed to light up. Thanks

And if all else fails look in the driver's handbook, it explains details like that. Or like turn the dash lights all the way down silences the headlights on tone.
