I wish we had more obs truck's in my local salvage yard, it's almost all nbs tuck's now.

How much are the 5.3's with transmissions going for up your way?

I hadn't seen this, you can get a complete 5.3 pullout with trans, wiring harness and all acc. for around $1K

Well I have my powertrain plans picked finally, I am going with a TSP 408 short block, 317 head's, TSP 228R cam, should be at 10.6-1 comp ratio, and a built 4L80E, they are getting right around 500 HP and 500 Ft Lbs' of torque out of that setup, I think it will get this heavy truck moving with no problem!

Man,the best I've found around here so far is 1k just for motor and asso. then 200 core charge.Im going to start saving and if I can't find a better deal around here Ill be getting one though you!lol
