Power Window Problem

Maybe someone has run into this before.
Rolled down window when I left work. A little while later I roll it half way back up....release button....window continues up.
I think to myself "that was wierd"..Try to roll it down ....won't roll down. If I wait 30 seconds it will go back down but everytime I roll it part way up...it goes all the way. I'm thinking switch but wanted to see if anyone has run into this before I get the DMM out this weekend.

I would check the switch first. I havent heard of this before, or experienced it, but I would say switch first or regulator in the door itself.

I agree with Greg. Sounds like the switch is acting up.

Switch is my thought as well...hmmm..a reason to hit our new C4C salvage yard.
I never leave a salvage yard without buying something .(Whether I need it or not)

Switch it was. Replaced and works great. Only good thing to come from the "clunker" program = lots of good donor vehicles.

Good to hear you got it fixed and that it was an easy fix, didn't have to trace wires!
