Power steering pulley

A couple weeks ago someone posted a picture of their power steering pulley that looked like it had a crack running 90 degrees from the grooves in the pulley. He wanted to know if that was normal. I had problems with my computer and didn't get to see if there were any replies and now I can't find it. Does anybody remember the pic and what the replies were ? My pulley looks like his and I want to know if I should replace mine. Thanks for any help you can give me.
