G80 is a mechanical locker, no clutches in it. Just fill up the fluid and it should be ok, its not the greatest locker of all time, it will catch and sometimes it wont. If you want positive get a detroit or even better a spool. Spool is really cheap.

He drives on the street. A spool won't disengage when he turns and will just end up breaking stuff. Now it was an offroad only truck then hell ya.

Detroit locker, its the quietest and most seamless locker you can get out there. You wont notice it till you punch it and both tires lock up.
