Anyone ever put any thought into making or converting one for a SBC? There are plenty for diesel engines and there must be some way to make one for a gas engine. I think this would be useful in a truck that has a York compressor and an air tank. The compressor already makes mad amounts of air, why not use it to start the vehicle and take the load of the batteries in extreme weather. Besides, it would scare the crap out of the people next to you!

They work fine as long as you don't have an air leak and jump starting only takes as long as filling your tanks off another truck's compressor but... I'd still rather electric start.
