I recently bought a new vortec 350 long block. It didnt come with the oil filter adapter on it. After checking on summit and jegs all the adapter applications stop before the 96-99 vortec motor. I thought all the blocks even the vortec 350's were the same. This is the adapter I was looking at buying.... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SES-3-60-08-900/
the last year listed is 1986 I called summit and they said my motor uses a different thread then the 13/16-16 so I called Delco with my oil filter part number and they said the filter thred is 13/16-16. So now im confused but I think summit gave me false information. Anyone have any knoledge on this?
