Little update on it all:
The drive line is in, with some major modification, the truck now is ready for an alignment and exhaust. The conversion to a 9.25 with 2500hd cvs, lowers, and spindles was a large headache. Ended up having to shorted the stock control arms by an inch to get the camber back to a reasonable range as the top edge of my tire was 2 inches out from the bottom.
The engine swap was no issue, although it is a tight fit with less than an inch between the firewall and valve covers.
Ended up having the get 2 new driveshafts cut to compensate for the driveline length differences.
Installed a 4x4 posilok to allow the front diff to unlock so that 2wd can be utilized on the highway to save on gas.
There is much more that has been done, and I can go into that if anyone is interested. Was also debating starting a YT channel to go through everything that has been done. Hopefully I’ll have exhaust on it soon and I can confirm if all of this is actually gonna work
