Fuses are good. The brakes light up when on the pedal. Otherwise, no guages, HVAC lights, switches everything. Ideas?

I know it sounds wierd, but check your taillight bulbs. I'm guessing you have brake lights, but no taillights?

30 views and one reply?!!! I replaced the headlight switch and that did nothing. I not only have no brake lights, I have no amber lights in the front or dash lights. The brakes light when the brake is applied, and the turn signals work. Could it be the turn signal switch?

my truck did the same thing. Double check your fuses and it could be the dimmer or headlight switch in the dash. thats what mine was

My 98 did something similar one time. But it blew fuses and I never figured it out so I ended up putting bigger fuses in and it all worked normal.
