No front drive shaft, possible?

Hi Guys,

Im trying to narrow down a vibration in the front drive train. I have a 99 Sub, with the 4 button Transfer Case. Is it possible to drive the Sub with no front driveshaft?

Yup just unbolt it from both ends and pull it out. No leaks.

Front Driveshaft does not move while driving in 2WD so you shouldn't be getting any noise from it.
Unless the noise is in 4wd then have at er

EDIT: I misread your first post, I didnt realize you said its a front drivetrain vibration.

Id be checking rotor run out, wheel balance and cv axles.

Is it a constant vibration? Does it vibrate at an idle? Is the vibration synchronized with the vehicle speed or the RPM?
