New rad has extra ports????

My truck:
1997 Tahoe
2 door 1500
Vortec 5700
Automatic



Junkyard truck
Chev extended cab
1989-1994 (old interior)
350 or 305 tbi? Not sure
Rad had new cap so I nabbed it

So my truck has 4 ports on the passenger side (overflow bottle, 2 for tranny cooler and lower rad hose) and 3 ports on the driver side (upper rad hose and two for oil cooler)

Questions:
1) The junkyard truck has 5 ports on the passenger side, an extra cooling hose for something?? Maybe went to the manifold or something??

2) Also, my truck has a random breather attached to the rad/fan shroud, what is this for? It's on the passenger side and sticks up. Goes underneath somewhere .....

#2 is the vent for front gear pumpkin put a rubber cap with hose clamp on the extra port on pass side

Extra port is for the heater core but some have that hose come off the water pump
