need help with starter wiring.

can anyone tell me what wires go where on my starter? It's been so long since I had it out I don't remember. The old wiring was all hacked and fell apart in peices when I took the starter off.

big guy from batt, and little guy from harness to activate the solenoid

so pos battery cable to solenoid. then wire from solenoid to relay block on firewall and thats it? Witch side of the solenoid for the batt.cable. I don't have it in front of me.

I also had a smaller wire coming off my battery, where did it go?

small wire? probably neg to chassis ground

it came off the pos. side. Maybe went to same side of solonoid as the wire to relay for alternator maybe? Read something about big three upgrade with wire direct from batt to alternator. Heard anything about that?

i thought the big 3 was making all the neg to ground connections bigger

It is, but it is also upgrading your pos. cable also. I just did some digging and found out how to do it.
1. batt. to starter.
2. batt. to alt.
3. neg batt to frame.
4. neg batt to motor.
5. motor to frame.

they said you could upgrade your wires from the relay box also.
