Went on a local mud run here on the weekend. Was very pleased with how the truck worked, only stuck once when got high centered in some ruts. Minor damge to wrap and a bent brakeline.

This ford is on 44's with a built big block, comes just short of slinging mud over the power wires. The deep water was no issue, did remember I was still running an open filter though after the crossing.

That look like fun. Wish we had something like that in my neck of the woods.

How long did it take you to clean it up, with the clay based mud we have up here, that would take you several days and a good chunk of change at the car wash.

Is driving along the power lines legal? I have a long ways of power lines up here, the road I live on runs right over them, its like a bridge, but I always see a 2 track running up either side of the road where the power lines are, but I don't dare go down there because it might be illegal..

Only took a few hours and couple tanks of fuel in pressure washer to clean.

As for if it is legal, its never been a problem but a couple years ago DNR did say you can be fined for running offroad, never have heard of anyone every getting a fine though.
