I got a quick question Im building a center console and it will have my AC/Heat controls in it. My questions is am I safe to just cut and extend all my factory wires out so I can relocate it?

Yes but to avoid having problems later on, solder the connections and wrap or heat shrink them afterwords

and you probably knew, but unplug the batt first and touch the connectors together just to make sure you dont short anything and pop a fuze.... or worse.

I would think you would run in to some problem's putting it in the overhead console because of the depth of the ac control's.

I saw someone on here maybe in the center console thread, used a CAT bezel to mount some stuff just under the dash and it looked factory. Might work for HVAC controls
