Motor Blew at 121,000 miles time to drop in a new one

How hard were you spinning it to make it blow that hard? Ive taken stock 350's, TPI, TBI, Carbed...past 5000 numerous times without failure. im told 5000-5500 is about the limit on stock parts with good maintenance..6000 with pink rods...

We run engines almost identical to the L31 that rev to 6400rpm, and stay there most of the time. We get really good shelf life out of them. And that's even using an extremely light weight oil.
