Hi everyone!
Having issues with the p0305 misfire code. Replaced plugs (looked fine to me) wires, rotor, cap and still am running into the issue. Seems like it was there for a while if I'm not mistaken because when I bought the truck, I needed to replace the cat, which I'm assuming is related to the misfire.
Now my question is, do I replace the injectors next and hope that solves the issue?
What kind of tests should I run before I attempt to replace the injectors? I have also been told from a buddy he had a k1500 same year, it had a stuck open valve that caused the misfire.. hopings it's not as deep as this.
Any help would be appreciated!
