i'm not sure why they are different but this is what my book says.

1988-90 90 ft lbs
1991-95 120 ft lbs
1996-98 140 ft lbs

No. And if your truck falls under the 90 range, do 100. I've never felt that 90lb/ft was enough for anything.

I've always turned the lug wrench until it doesn't go anymore, but I'm close to 200 lbs. My best friend in high school was like 135, so he had shops torque his down...one afternoon he lost a wheel, there is still a 30 ft long gouge in the asphalt from his front left rotor.
