lsx swap into a 92 full sie blazer question

Hi every one Im new to the forum and heard this is the place to come to for lsx swaps in obs trucks, so here is my story. I have a 97 4dr tahoe 4x4 I was planning to swap out the 5.7 vortec for a 5.3 motor I got from work, I know with the 97 i could reuse the trans and transfer case, Now I had come across a 92 2dr blazer 4x4 that needs a motor and the guy is saleing it cheap and I always wanted a 2dr, I know the trans will work on the ls motor but wont be computre controlled so Ill be upgrading the trans to a newer 4l60e but will the transfer case still bolt up to the new trans and will the 92 vss work for the ls computre? or should I just grab a newer transfer case from the same year truck?
