is there a thread anywhere that walks you through the wiring? I have a 96 Z71 that i am going to install a 5.3 soon and thats where i need the help. I have seen both running both computers and taking the 96 computer out so what would be the benefits of each?

A lot of people do the 411 computer swap because it processes faster and makes it run better. Make sure the computer that came with the 5.3 will be capable of working with all your stock gages. Worst case scenario you'd have to get a 411 pcm I think. Good luck. Should be nice.
