The main reason why I had to repair my front suspension, I hit a deer, the truck was wrote off due to the cost of damages
and the value of the truck. Even though I had just put in a 383, it didn't matter. We bought the truck back. The truck has to
get a salvage inspection once it is repaired. So I have to go through the truck and fix the things that don't work or was in
need of repair. I had to replace the hood, both fenders, the grill, center filler, left side filler, front bumper and left side brackets,
the rear bumper, the suspension. I have to make sure the MIL light works, I have to check the mirrors since I got a new circuit
breaker, I have to change the multi function switch. So far, I have painted up the frame on the front, where I could, the front
suspension, both inner fenders. I am painting the hinges and bolts for the hood, I am also painting the bolts for the outer
fenders and the inner fenders. I have everything with the suspension on the left side, I have to wait for the backing plate to dry
before putting that on. I am going to paint the caliper once the inspection is done. I am going to check with CAPS to see if they
can mix up some high temp paint to match the color of my truck. For the calipers. Then they can look nice till the brake dust covers them.
