Are these small 3mm bulbs controlled by the dimmer at all? I'd like to swap mine, but worried they'll be too bright...

You cant control LEDs with the OE dimmer. They are ether off or on.

I should have rephrased my question. I know LED's need PWM for dimming, what I meant was are these small bulbs in the switches (on the doors and dash) also controlled by the dimmer switch like the gauge and radio lights are, or are they on their own circuit? My truck currently has manual windows, but I have the guts from some power window doors I'm about to swap in. If those switches are all controlled by the rheostat dimmer, I won't bother with the LED swap...

The door switches are on their own, non-dimming circuit. The cargo, airbag, and other DASH switches ARE on the dimmer circuit.
