I am planning my l92 build since i just picked it up for 400 bucks. If everything checks out i plan on installing a new Cam, springs, headers and run the factory heads.
My truck has 30 inch tires, 3.73 gears with a trutrac in the rear. What would be a good cam for a street truck. This truck will never tow anything. I just want a responsive truck whenever i put my foot on the pedal.

I plan on buying a close ratio T56 magnum.

I vote this one unless you have a regular cab 2wd that is light.

Ive used this one in LS3 Camaros with TR6060 and they weigh 4000#.
Makes 475rwhp with CNC'd stock heads and 1-7/8" headers and stock LS3 car intake.
Pulls strong to 7200rpms but still enough cam to chuck around at 1500rpms in 6th gear.

Call your favorite cam company. Most of the time they will give you a better recommendation than any of us internet randos because they will take the time to make sure what you're getting matches your expectations.
