Hey everyone, I was under the truck earlier this week replacing the steel/rubber hydro clutch line at the slave cylinder, I happened to notice a sensor that was broken and next to the starter. I looked at it for a minute then it dawned on me- that must be where the "spare" electrical connector went, it was tucked up into the wiring rats nest for the front diffy actuator conversion. I checked when I got back inside, and it sure looks like it would be a knock sensor. With some of the drivability symptoms the truck has, a broken/no signal knock sensor also fit the bill.

As I looked at Rock Auto, there is a few choices to pick from, but only one listing says " for non-automatic" transmissions. Are there really different sensors depending if the truck is an automatic or SM465 manual trans?
