There's a stroky looking doohickey under the column and I've been wondering WTF it does. Maybe it strokes with the key? Gonna have to investigate that.

I didn't take a pic, and it's a thing I didn't know existed before. Too late for a pic now, but it's down there whatever TF it is.

I have the clamshells off, the lower plastic panel, and the metal one behind that. Easy to see now.

Literally everything else works. It just won't start. Battery cables are good, starter cables are good, I just lose the PRNDL when it's in the "run" position. PRNDL fuse is good. Starter relay is good. Has a brand new starter on it.

Could it be the ignition switch? Wiring that runs down the column?

This. Is it that the starter won't engage or truck rolls over but won't fire?

There is nothing once it moves to the run position or the start position. It acts like a dead neutral safety switch. I completely lose the PRNDL as soon as I turn the key to run. All the other gauges seem to work just fine. But once the PRNDL drops, it won't send power to the starter.

So we're right back to the things me and @OutlawDrifter already brought up. Try starting in neutral and ohm through/check the rigging of the switch down at the trans. And were there any bent pins at the switch? I bent one before and it made my backup lights not work.
