How does one change the shift points in a '94 4L60E? I want to move the 3-4 shift so it holds longer (IE: If I put my foot down I want it to stay in 3rd until I get to the top of the hill)

No, it needs to be written. You can learn to do it or have someone else do it. Head over to gearhead efi

94 will be a chip.

You can either have a "tuner" do it for you or you can learn to do it yourself for about 200 bucks in hardware from Moates.net

Just changing shift points is easy peasy....

tunes are customdone for your specification, chips are garbage in my opinion. learn to do it yourslef and itll be time well spent because then you can do H/C/I swaps and retune your truck in a moments notice, no waiting on people etc etc.
